Goldelox Productions
Goldelox Productions is a Toronto based production company developing diverse content for television, web and other platforms.

Job Description

  • Provide leadership for the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the program,
  • Work closely with the project coordinator to effectively roll out program objectives,
  • Secure, implement and manage MOUs and partnership agreements with various industry supporter and stakeholders,
  • Ensure the accurate collection and analysis of appropriate data for internal decision-making and funder accountability requirements,
  • Oversee branding and marketing for social media and outreach,
  • Any other duties as required.


Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree from a recognized institution in a relevant discipline with a minimum of three to five years related experience,
  • All candidates are expected to have an understanding of the film, television and digital media sector in Canada, as well as demonstrate a familiarity with the intersections of black community engagement and digital media arts.
  • Knowledge and experience with service and program planning, implementation, and evaluation,
  • A high degree of confidence in using social media and website creation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Excellent time management and priority setting skills,
  • Report and grant writing.


Additional Info:

Black Youth! Pathway2Industry (BYP2I) is a 3-year career building initiative for Black youth, living in the GTA. Participants of the program are recent graduates of post-secondary film, television and media arts programs and actively pursuing jobs in the sector. This initiative was developed by director, producer. Alison Duke of Goldelox Productions.  We are committed to an inclusive anti-oppression participatory framework in addressing issues of low employment and marginalization of post-secondary educated Black youth in the industry and are working to improve access to essential skills training, mentorship and networking opportunities.  Goldelox Productions is looking for a professional, motivated and dynamic individual to join the team.
