Walter Alza Acting Studio,  founded over a decade ago at Yonge and Bloor by the Trailblazer and multiple time Award winning actor/producer/director/writer and visual artist Walter Alza (Get Rich or Die Tryin’) www.alzaactingstudio.com We also own Alza 44films which is an Award Winning film company.

The Actors we coached have gone on to win some of the most Canadian Prestigious as well as winning in festivals in Canada and the US, our students appear in virtually every major TV series shot in Toronto.  People say Walter Alza and our Award winning faculty are rare passionate directors and acting coaches who genuinely love working with actors. Job Description

We're on the lookout to add 2 new coaches to our Award Winning Faculty. Candidate must love to coach, be a team player that has passion for film & tv and is looking to join a dynamic team at one of the most crafted Acting Studios in Canada.  Successful candidates must be reliable and must love actors and the craft.   Candidate should be motivated, extremely detail oriented, with superior organizational and communication skills.  This job is for Weekends work Saturdays, Sundays and possibly Fridays in person and via zoom. Requirements:

Certificate and or degree from a Recognized institution and or working teaching experience minimum of 3 to 10  years teaching actors. Working actors/directors and or recognized Instructors welcome.  Experience on camera coaching a plus. Residing near Yonge and Bloor or downtown a huge plus. 

Your Intro letter for the teaching sub contract should include:
a. a self-assessment of your teaching ability with respect to courses you have taught,
including a discussion of your effectiveness, learning outcomes, students responses to
your approach, etc.;

b a section outlining your accomplishments and activities. This section should include:
a. a brief discussion of significant instructional materials or course revisions you have developed;

a brief discussion of the professional development activities, what will potentially impact your thinking or your teaching. A list of other professional development activities may be included.

c a section outlining the cameras and gear you have used in the past
