Job Description

  • Responsible for installation, basic maintenance, tear down and pack away of all technical equipment
  • Repair or initiate repair of all breakdowns in your area of responsibility
  • Complete maintenance as needed on technical equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Assist with technical installations of attractions
  • Following the event, assist with the tear down process of all attractions and theming


  • Available to work flexible shifts beginning mid-August and full time hours beginning September, including Statutory Holidays
  • Available to work some overnight shifts as required
  • Education and/or work experience in technical production (theatre preferred) required
  • Experience with basic carpentry is required
  • Experience in theatrical special effects an asset
  • Excellent operating, set-up and troubleshooting knowledge of audio, lighting and effects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong creative skills
  • Willing to work in a hands on environment and take on a leadership role as assigned
  • Able to lift 40lbs above your head and work in confined and dark spaces
  • Able to multi-task and work efficiently
  • Able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License (G, G2)
  • Reliable source of transportation, outside of public transit (to accommodate for both early and late shifts and the lack of public transportation during set-up)
  • Must provide CSA approved steel toe footwear
