DANCE, SINGING and MUSICAL THEATRE TEACHER OPPORTUNITIES Stagecoach Hamilton East www.stagecoachschools.ca/hamiltoneast

Stagecoach Performing Arts, the world’s longest running and most successful performing arts network for children and teens, is expanding and looking to hire several new instructors to join our brand new Hamilton team.

The ideal applicants should be enthusiastic, love working with children, and have a strong training and performance background in dance, music and/or theatre.

Applicants should also have teaching experience, good classroom control, positive energy and experience working with large groups of children ages 6-16yrs. A vulnerable sector police check will be required for all hired teachers.

We have the following positions available:

  •   Dance Teacher (Jazz and Musical Theatre Style classes)

  •   Singing Teacher

  •   Early Stages Musical Theatre Teacher (Acting, Singing and Dance classes for children

    aged 4-6yrs.)

  •   Early Stages Assistant Teacher

    The positions (except Assistant Teacher) will include preparing for and teaching exciting & high-quality group classes, often working toward and creating material for end of term performances and productions.

    We pride ourselves on an encouraging, fun and supportive working environment, with strong core values, opportunity to grow, exciting teaching workshops and a competitive hourly wage.

    School year is comprised of three 10-week terms; Fall Term Sept-Dec 2019
    Winter Term Jan-March 2020
    Spring Term April-June 2020

    Classes are held on Saturday Mornings. At Stoney Creek United Church (1 King St West).
