Job Description

Northwood Entertainment is currently hiring an Executive Assistant to the President of Northwood Entertainment. The qualified candidate should be extremely detail oriented, resourceful, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Be personable, a fast learner, thick-skinned, punctual, professional and have a positive attitude. Must also be able to multi-task, remain calm under pressure, and be a nimble, diligent and creative problem solver. Should identify as quick-thinking, flexible, self-motivated and able to manage multiple shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. 
Must be comfortable with a high volume of work, and long hours including evenings and weekends (as needed).
 
Responsibilities to include:
  • Answer and coordinate a high volume of phone calls, emails, scheduling, and travel.
  • Manage all deliveries, mail, submissions and correspondence.
  • Regular book-keeping support, including tracking receipts/expenses.
  • Interface with high-profile collaborators, agents and talent with utmost professionalism.
  • Track projects in development, research/source information and complete coverage.
  • Support for development, production, sales, public relations, legal, and post production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office and electronic records.
  • During production, assisting the work of the producers, production office or other departments as needed.
  • Other tasks to include running errands (with a car).


Requirements:

Qualifications: 
- 2+ years previous experience as an executive assistant in the entertainment industry strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills are a must. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- MUST HAVE A CAR. Must have valid driver’s license and personal vehicle with clean driving record.
- Please note that this is primarily not a creative job - this is most of all an administrative position. 
- Candidates must be willing to make a one-year minimum commitment and begin immediately. 
- Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or dual citizen.
- Familiarity with current productions an asset.
- University or college degree an asset.
