Job Description

Pinnguaq is hiring a Digital Project Manager. In this amazing new role, you’ll manage a small energetic team of designers, videographer and 3D animators to develop Pinnguaq’s digital media needs. We’re looking for someone who can project manage and oversee production workflow as request come into this team from other departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage best PM practice standards and processes with digital requests from other departments.
  • ​Communicate with the entire team to ensure each individual understands the work they need to do as well as how it fits into the bigger project.
  • Help team members with questions or blocks that are impeding their work.
  • Managing the collection of edits and funneling those through to the necessary parties and ensure digital components are updated in a timely fashion​


 



Requirements:

Experience/Education:

  • University or College degree in Computer Science or Website Design or Animation or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of Project Management experience preferably managing Digital/Web projects
  • Outstanding communication and ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision (verbal & written)
  • Large group facilitation skills
  • Stakeholder management: gaining consensus and building trust
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Proven experience working with virtual teams
  • PMP Certification

Working Knowledge Of:

  • Experience in DevOps and Agile Toolset (JIRA, Confluence) would be an asset
