Job Description

The Vancouver West Side Theatre Society and Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver (JCC) are seeking an experienced  Artistic Managing Director for the Norman and Annette Rothstein Theatre (NRT), a fully equipped 318-seat performance venue.
 
Reporting to the Executive Director of the JCC the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of rental operations, financial management, and corporate, individual and public sector fundraising and grant writing, along with the artistic programming and management of the annual international performing arts festival Chutzpah! (www.chutzpahfestival.com).

Requirements:

We are looking for a creative, visionary leader who has strong communication skills, strong financial and computer skills, and a minimum of five years’ experience leading a multi-faceted performing arts festival and theatre venue. Experience working collaboratively with a range of contract arts professionals and staff as well as lay leaders and committees is needed. A hard working professional with a background in performing arts and financial management is required.
