Position: Artist / Architectural Visualizer
Terms of employment: Permanent / Full-time
Location of work: Toronto, Ontario
Hours of work: 40 hours a week
Benefits: Eligible for discretionary bonuses and increases in salary. 2 weeks paid vacation.
Salary: $23.5 hourly

Duties:
  • Creating high-quality renderings for competitions, studies and projects;
  • Creating Photorealistic and abstract visualizers;
  • Creating rendered animations;
  • Managing and visualizing projects;
  • Architectural storytelling and creating a visual identity for architecture projects;
  • Assist in the development of architectural designs;
  • Assist in presentations for client or and competitions
 
 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in 3Ds Max Architectural Visualization; Excellent photorealistic rendering abilities (V-Ray);
  • Must demonstrate substantial CGI experience and able to demonstrate photorealistic interior and exterior CGIs;
  • Passionate about architectural visualization and 3D graphics;
  • Excellent abilities in Post-Production (Photoshop);
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling (3Ds Max, Rhinoceros, Sketch Up etc);
  • Fundamental understanding of Illustrator and InDesign;
  • Exception visualization talent;
  • Excellent knowledge in millwork detailing for modelling and rendering projects;
  • Good coordination and communication skills;
  • Committed, reliable, highly self-motivated, organized – able to effectively prioritize and manage time and be able to work within a team;
  • Keen eye with attention to detail, colour, lighting, composition, and design;
  • Creative curiosity for new technologies and should follow industry trends which have potential for architectural industry;
  • Ability to share ideas and concepts with the rest of the team and should enjoy working in an open studio environment;
  • Knowledge of Portuguese (considered an asset)
  • College diploma or University degree in architectural technology, urban design, or a related field with excellent understanding of architecture, urban design, interior design, and graphic design
