Not to toot our own horn, but one thing we’ve become really good at is providing learning and career development opportunities to arts professionals.
There are many groups to praise for their efforts to help us meet our mandate. We couldn't do
most of our programming if not for the help of our supporters, including those who partner with us to share their expertise.
We are very excited to work with the mentors of Growing Earned Revenue Mentoring (GERM) Program, who will be providing one-to-one learning to GERM participants who have identified specific learning priorities related to identifying, increasing and/or diversifying their organization’s earned revenue streams.
Like the GERM participants, our diverse group of mentors represent different disciplines and industries, and come from organizations and professional backgrounds that serve different commitments of the creative, arts and heritage community.
We asked the mentors why they decided to help us spread the GERM, and a majority expressed the desire to connect, share knowledge, make a difference and collaborate with sector colleagues and the cultural community.
We are so pleased to work with the mentors, so we decided to show them some love and give them a spotlight. Throughout this week we’ll be featuring the GERM mentors on our Facebook and Twitter so you can get to know them a little bit more.
As the mentors have identified, we also hope that their participation in the GERM becomes a great learning and networking experience. One that would help: expand their knowledge of the challenges faced in the sector, maximize their own work potential, and most of all have a positive impact in their own career development.
Here they are, the wonderful GERM mentors who we appreciate for joining us to continue this work:
