Arts Connects is a series of workshops, art installations, talks and tours that aims to connect the local North York Community with both the environment and the history of the land that we live, work and play on. As part of ArtworxTO and in celebration of the Year of Public Art, we will be celebrating our connection with the land we inhabit as settlers and share with Indigenous Peoples. Our free public programs will have a focus on environmentalism and building positive relationships with the Indigenous community. NYA is excited to be working with all our Indigenous partners, educators, advisors and artists to continue to support the process of decolonization in the arts sector. This program is supported by TAC's Animating Toronto Streets, ArtworxTO and Canada Council for the Arts.

NOTE: This series of workshops are open to the public who have an interest to learn Indigenous Knowledge from Indigenous Elders, Educators and Time Keepers. Please note that if spots are limited priority will be given to North York residents.
