Job Description

The North York YMCA wants to work towards breaking the cycle of poverty and crime in the disadvantaged community of Communa 13 where the majority of families endure great economic hardships. The funds raised during this event will support PREUNYCOM, a by youth for youth free pre-university preparation course, in the Medellin YMCA that has allowed 200 students to access university. This program gives youth a means to help change their community by building leaders and facilitators through education.
This event is expected to be the largest community gathering hosted at the North York YMCA; estimated to bring out 300 people in attendance. It will be a night of culture, entertainment and arts to raise money for a worthwhile cause.
