Job Description

-Work with the staff and other Entertainment Supervisors to ensure the artistic intent of show productions and the adherence of Performers to their Appearance Riders are maintained as set by Entertainment Management -Train and oversee all staff to ensure proper adherence to all current park and department policies and procedure and to all current Occupational Health & safety Act regulations -Implement new ideas and procedures for the smooth operation of the assigned theatre -Coordinate with the Costume Creative and Department Managers the maintenance and refurbishing of all show costumes -Appraise the performance of all associates in his/her program and initiate recommendations for promotions, and provide corrective action in accordance with company policies and procedures in conjunction with fellow supervisors -Responsible for all assigned assets and resources and the maintenance of same as required including the daily upkeep and cleaning of assigned facility -Communicate daily with Department Manager and peers, to ensure work continuity within the operations of the Entertainment Department and attend and participate in weekly production meetings and produce reports as assigned -Use all means at his/her disposal to promote a positive spirit and unity within the department


-Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a post-secondary technical theatre program, that includes a specialty in the area of stage and/or production management -An understanding of procedures of the theatre, basic technical knowledge and proven leadership and people management skills -Administrative and computer literacy is required with experience in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Access -Previous park experience is an asset -Able to multi-task and work efficiently in all types of weather conditions -Dependable and enjoy the prospect of working in a guest oriented environment -Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays -Strong written and oral communications skills
