Job Description

We are looking for a carpenter helper for our upcoming production of Broken Glass by Arthur Miller, Directed by Ari Weisberg (see summery of play below).
Performances are November 7-18, 2017 at the Toronto Centre for the Arts - Studio Theatre 5040 Yonge St., Toronto. Rehearsals will start Oct. 15 at Beth Sholom, Allan Rd. And Eglinton W. area, Toronto.

This is a volunteer position 

Great opportunity to get some work experience under your belt.

Broken Glass By Arthur Miller                  
November 7-18, 2017

Phillip and Sylvia Gellburg are a Jewish married couple living in Brooklyn, N.Y.  In November 1938, after the horrific events of Kristallnacht are reported in the newspapers, Sylvia, an otherwise healthy woman becomes unexplainably paralyzed from the waist down. When Dr. Harry Hyman is called in, problems in the marriage are revealed.  How do both of the Gellburgs respond to being Jewish at this unsympathetic time in history?


Experience in theatre carpentry and ability to read plans required. Some heavy lifting of set pieces. Driver licence. immediate availability. Tools
