Job Description

Position Summary
The Marketing & Events Coordinator will support the Community Engagement Manager to coordinate stakeholder engagement through: outreach efforts, marketing campaigns, communications, and events including the Mayor’s Arts Lunch.
Marketing & Communications
  • Assist in the production of marketing and printed materials
  • Create and post content to the Foundation’s websites and social media accounts
  • Write and develop content for newsletters, reports and communications
  • Ensure correct recognition of donors and sponsors on all materials
  • Gather and analyzing data to evaluate campaigns and websites.
Assist in the coordination of Arts in the Parks:
  • Coordinate staff schedules
  • Assist with community engagement activities for events.
Assist in the coordination of the Mayor’s Arts Lunch, Creative Champions Networks events, Emerging Leaders events and Awards receptions:
  • Liaise with vendors and event venues
  • Develop schedules for events
  • Coordinate event registration and rsvp lists
  • Manage volunteer program for events including recruitment, orientation
  • Assist with event communications and post-event engagement
  • Track event related data and analytics
  • Collaborate with the Philanthropy and Sponsorship Manager on planning, prospecting, cultivation and stewardship of donors and sponsors.


  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple deadlines and assess priorities.
  • Comfortable picking up new technologies quickly
  • Problem solver with proven troubleshooting skills
  • Self-starter who works well independently

Additional Info:

The Marketing & Events Coordinator works primarily in an office environment with a standard work week, but will be required to work some evenings and weekends for events.
