Our team at Creativiva is quickly expanding, and we are interested in hiring an International Business Development Agent to oversee our existing and potential clients and productions throughout the world. The ideal candidate will bring forth innovate and unique business strategies for developing new projects and clientele within the fast-paced, creative and invigorating world of entertainment production. The Business Development Agent will report directly to the Artistic director and will also work alongside our production team.
Build and maintain contact with current and prospective clients;
Maintain a clear focus on client experience and address on-site customer service issues/ customer complaints;
Work closely with our production team to organize production costs and budgets;
Research, analyze and evaluate potential partnerships and venues for productions;
Enhance development plans, designs, and implement processes to support business growth in international markets;
Prepare, manage and analyze budgets to build customized agreements;
Guide prospective clients through the contract process: Introductions, negotiations, and closure of agreements;
Ensure daily progress of current and potential clients.
A minimum of four (4) years of experience working in sales, with a primary focus in entertainment production and proven experience working directly with clients;
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (ie. sales, business) or the equivalent;
Previous experience in Entertainment Production is mandatory;
Required to have previous experience in budgeting, scheduling, and organization;
Network of promoters and broadcasters already established;
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills;
Fluent in English (verbal and written), additional languages are an asset;
Excelled in Mac's Pages, Numbers, Keynote
Available to travel abroad if needed.

Works well under pressure, thrives in fast-paced environments and has the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines;
Understands the value of working with others and the importance of maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude;
Superior organizational and communication skills
Background knowledge of entertainment production and/or the performing arts;
Innovative, creative and curious.
Please note this is a contract position for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal.
