Community Arts & Heritage Education Project (CAHEP)
CAHEP is a growing arts education organization located in Thunder Bay, Ontario.  We know firsthand that arts have an incredible power to make positive change in the community, and in the lives of individuals.  Working together with local professional artists, we bring multidisciplinary arts programs to schools, community groups, neighbourhood organizations and social service agencies, engaging thousands of children, youth, families, and seniors each year.  
 

Job Description

In collaboration with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director ensures that CAHEP’s administrative, financial and human resources are successfully managed in alignment with our current strategic vision and plan.  In early 2018, a new strategic plan will be collaboratively developed.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate is a compassionate leader with effective communication skills and a desire to collaborate with a variety of community partners, artists and participants. They have strong arts education and community-engaged arts knowledge and a commitment to promoting quality arts programming within our community.  They have demonstrated knowledge of non-profit financial management and grant writing/reporting skills. Familiarity with CADAC is a definite asset.
