Canadian New Music Network
Founded in 2005, the Canadian New Music Network (CNMN) is a not-for-profit arts service organisation that makes new music in all its forms more accessible to the public, promotes the work of Canadian artists working in these genres, and creates a strong and vital community network. Embracing contemporary classical, experimental, and alternative music genres, the organization represents all parts of the new music ecology: composers, performers, ensembles, orchestras, improvisers, sound artists, experimental musicians, educators, administrators, independent artists, new opera, and listeners.
CNMN’s biennial forum is central to its activities, where community discussion and exchange builds solutions to common problems, promotes the art form, and creates the synergies that lead to collaboration and new expression.
CNMN is a fully bilingual organisation, committed to communicating with its members in both official languages.  CNMN is committed to promoting diversity within the community and seeking reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples in Canada.
