It is the largest theatrical promoter in Toronto as a result, Toronto became one of the most important theatrical centres in the world. In 1991, in response to increased ticket demand, Mirvish Productions established a subsidiary company to act as a ticketing agent and provide a telephone sales service to complement the theatre ticket window.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains ticketing databases by identifying and solving database requirements; supporting users.
Install server software.
Configure database servers.
Design backup processes for server and associated data
Provide end to end technical support and problem solution.

Requirements:

Required Skills
Solid experience with database administration
Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2016
Installation
Backup
Recovery
Replication
Clustering
Virtualization
Tuning
Query writing
Experience with Visual Studio .Net
Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
Knowledge of IIS
Knowledge of SharePoint
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
