Job Description

Are you a problem solver with a passion for theatre and working with all abilities? Want to help make a difference in a local inclusive creative arts company?
If so, DramaWay invites you to submit an application to the position of Creative Assistant/Support Staff.
This casual freelance job will offer you the chance to join a small process-oriented theatre company that provides life-enhancing opportunities for individuals of ALL abilities in the GTA area.
Staff in this position, will work directly alongside one of our Drama Facilitators to support Participants in our Multi Arts Program.  You will be helping to support the Facilitator at our Weekly Multi Arts Program geared for youth and adults of All Abilities ages14+.  This will involve numerous tasks some of which include but are not limited to:
- Supervise group activities 
- Work one-on-one with Participants who need extra support. 
- Offer feedback and support to Senior Staff and Directors relating to Productions
- Work one-on-one with Participants as needed
- Support all in-class activities (including set-up & tear down) Saturdays 9:15 am to 12 noon near Yonge & Lawrence at Fairlawn Ave United Church. May be needed for extra hours on final date.  
Passion for & Experience working with All Abilities or individuals with special needs is an asset.
Background working in the creative arts sector; Primarily theatre.
Background working with individuals with special needs /All Abilities. 
Teaching background is preferred but not necessary.
Interest in working with a grass roots organization that was founded in 1999.
Other Information
This position is perfect for someone looking for part-time/casual work and one who might desire an intimate work environment.
Meetings outside of scheduled work time during the day may be required upon occasion.
Wage: $15 per hour to start (This position is considered a Freelance Consultant role. S/he is responsible for claiming his/her own taxes as well as tracking hours)
