The Course Series in Arts and Entertainment Administration is suitable for arts managers, potential arts managers, and individual artists. This four-course program has been designed to equip you with entrepreneurial skills to support your creative ideas. Learn from seasoned professionals who work in the cultural industry and develop the confidence to build your business. Social Media Marketing for Arts and Entertainment (CDAM 104) (19.5 hours)

Designed for organizations and artists of all disciplines, this course examines strategies and techniques of media and digital technology for marketing and promotion. Theory and practice are demystified to understand the why and the how. Canadian case studies are presented to illustrate successful approaches.

Scheduling: Mondays, 6:30–9:30 p.m., March 12, 2018–April 23, 2018
 
Instructor: Learn from Sue Edworthy, who has worked in the non-profit performing arts for nearly 20 years. Her passion for the arts led her to stints as a director, event coordinator, and arts administrator in arts organizations in and around Toronto, and she is now respected and sought after as a marketing and communications specialist.
