Anyone who has worked on a conference will know the blood, sweat, and tears involved in making sure that it is a great success.

We are so pleased with the results of our collective hard work! The Creative Works Conference, delivered in partnership with Humber College, could not have gone as smoothly as it did without the efforts of our fabulous Creative Works team.

In addition to our team, sponsors, and volunteers, we want to acknowledge the tremendous impact the participation of our speakers and attendees had on this, our first Conference for Arts & Culture Professionals. By including a diverse group of individuals from various creative backgrounds, we wanted to ensure that the day included both enlightening and entertaining moments – and you have told us we succeeded.

Based on  the feedback we received from attendees, we are pleased that so many of you enjoyed the topics that were discussed, the networking opportunities, the location – the beautiful Humber College Lakeshore campus, the Bad Dog Theatre improv sessions, and the various presentations -  especially from Choir!Choir!Choir!

We have heard and appreciate your suggestions for making the next one even better and have already started our planning! What do you think of Creative Disruption as a theme? If you want to contribute thoughts on possible topics and speakers, please send them to us.

We certainly learned a lot from the day’s events not only from our speakers and the discussions but also from the experience of putting together a conference. We look forward to partnering again with Humber College and seeing you next year!
