WorkInCulture Welcomes Brad Dicks as Marketing and Communications Manager

WorkInCulture is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Dicks as our new Marketing and Communications Manager.

This new position is a very important addition to our hard-working team as we embark on a three year plan, supported by The Ontario Trillium Foundation, to enhance our work across the province. Brad brings very strong skills, diverse experience and an enthusiasm for working with the creative community that will be very valuable in ensuring our success.

Brad has a diverse background in communications, digital and social media marketing and community management. As Marketing and Communications Manager for WorkInCulture (Cultural Careers Council Ontario), Brad will support development of the WorkInCulture Collaborative Network and the WorkInCulture Creative Business Hub through hands-on outreach, digital marketing strategy and social media presence, communications strategy development/execution, networking and content development across all WorkInCulture platforms.

A graduate of the Advanced Public Relations program at Humber College, Brad’s professional credits include: national internal and external communications practices for Loblaw Companies Limited, digital marketing strategy and execution for The Signature Video Group, a host of guest blog articles and the launch of his own company, specialized in digital content development, analytics and SEO/SEM. With a long and varied history in the arts and cultural community, Brad studied under the Music Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan College and has enjoyed involvement with the Music Industry Association and various theatre companies in the Greater Toronto Area.

Outside the working world, Brad is an avid singer/songwriter, award-winning performer, advocate for anything and everything creative or artistic and self-proclaimed tech-enthusiast.
